Centre for Quantum Metamaterials at СONMAT- 2022 Summit in Dubai

The Director of the Centre , Professor  Dr. Alexey Vagov, acted as an invited speaker at the world-famous global summit CONMAT 2022 in Dubai, UAE.

Professor Vagov spoke on  the first day of the Forum, when leading world-renowned scientists from different countries presented their ideas.

Condensed matter physics has a specific goal to understand the structure and properties of all kinds of solid and liquid bodies (including liquid crystals). This is a very wide and lively field of research in modern physics, where new phenomena are often observed  in relation with unusual properties of matter in metals, semiconductors, superconductors, magnets, insulators and mesoscale systems.

The intensive research of new ideas and new materials is conducted all over the world in the entire field of CMP, which became one of the main pillars of high technology. The summit has covered several special topics in this very active area, presented by well-known experts, Dr. Alexey Vagov among them.

Professor Dr. Vagov also took part in a discussion with young researchers who presented their latest research results to the expert community.
