The First Scientific Events of 2023 Were Held at the Centre of Quantum Metamaterials

January 17, 2023 an online master class on numerical methods for solving the Ginzburg-Landau equation on CUDA computer system was held by  Dr. Wilmer Cordoba-Camacho, Professor of the University of Pernambuco. The event was organized for the interns of the Centre and the students of MIEM University.

January 18, 2023  NRNU MEPhI masters’ student Ivan Kovalyov, reported the results of his calculations of electron-phonon interaction for hydrogen-containing materials at high pressures during the meeting of the  Centres’ research staff dedicated to "The Effect of Disorder on Superconductivity". These results will serve as a basis for the new projects of the Centre.

January 19, 2023, the scientists of the Center Dr. Vagov  and Dr. Shanenko have visited their colleagues from the Experimental Center for Low-dimensional Materials of Sir Andre Geim at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.  They held a joint seminar with colleagues from the University of Bayreuth (Germany) and the University of Pernambuco (Brazil). During the seminar, the scientists exchanged opinions on the  latest results of research on ferromagnetic superconducting materials.
